More Information & Registration

The University of Michigan School of Public Health is bringing in experts from the U-M Center for Language and Literacy to conduct a 3-session Speaking American English Workshop for Michigan Public Health faculty members who are interested in working on their English communication skills in an effort to further contribute to the university's commitment to public engagement. This workshop is funded by the Dean's Office and offered at no cost to the participating faculty members or their departments.

To ensure as much individual attention as possible, this workshop is limited to 6 participants. The first 6 faculty members to register will be enrolled in the workshop. If the interest exceeds the course capacity, we will explore offering another workshop in the future. Workshops and other resources are also available through the U-M Center for Language and Literacy directly.

This is a three-session workshop. Faculty are strongly encouraged to attend all three sessions in order to get the full benefit of the workshop.
