Good classroom discussions in higher education encompasses multiple elements, and an increasing body of research demonstrates the importance of effective student-centered discussions, ensuring classroom exchanges consistently achieve this level of quality often presents a challenge – particularly for new professors or graduate teaching students. This workshop will highlight some of the key elements of successful classroom discussions, and different ways to implement those to ensure students success. Lunch will be provided.
