Ann Arbor MI 11-06-2019 11-06-2019 Powerpoint (or Prezi, Google slides, ...) is not inherently a bad tool, but its misuse results in dull presentations that are often highly ineffective at accomplishing their purpose, which is to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. This workshop will discuss selected insights from the science of learning that can help us create presentation materials that capitalize on our cognitive abilities rather than work against them. Is there a life after death-by-Powerpoint? Come find out!
