Ann Arbor MI 12-03-2019 12-03-2019 The cost of domestic internships often come with unexpected costs. Transportation expenses like airfare, gas, and metro tickets. Paying for rent in Ann Arbor and at the city internship location. Unexpected incidentals. These are but a few barriers that get in the way of the internship and its purpose: engaged learning. For both paid and unpaid internships, it can be daunting to perform your best knowing the expenses overshadow pay and funding. This year for Giving Blueday, Michigan Public Health is making an effort to reduce the funding gap for the transition periods our students experience during their program. We need your help to make this opportunity a reality. Share our goal and page, make a gift of any size to make a student's internship transition easier. Curious about how to get involved?
