Transparent Assignment Design refers to teaching practices aimed at making learning processes more explicit for students. Transparent instruction requires only a small change to teaching practice, yet offers substantial gains for students: a growing body of research indicates that transparent instruction leads to significant, enduring, and equitable gains for students by boosting academic confidence, sense of belonging, metacognitive awareness of skill development, and persistence. This workshop will introduce participants to the Transparency Framework and provide specific tools to implement it. This workshop is eligible for 1 CPE credit. Facilitator: Frédérique Laubépin
