The Michigan Healthcare Executive Student Association (MHESA) and Public Health Students of African Descent (PHSAD) are hosting Bill Mann's, the president of two Saint Joseph Mercy Health System hospitals: St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Joseph Mercy Livingston. MHESA is comprised of students interested in healthcare administration and strives to advance healthcare excellence by transforming students into healthcare leaders through professional development, relationship-building, and service. PHSAD is the oldest sponsored student organization at the School of Public Health (SPH) and is comprised of interdisciplinary students of African descent, aiming to maintain a sense of community within SPH. Together, we hope to have a space for leadership development, professional development, and growth for our members. We're excited for the chance to have Bill Mann's reflect on his journey to becoming CEO and how he remained rooted in improving the health of vulnerable communities as an administrator.
