Facilitation Skills for Creating Inclusive Environments

You are invited to attend the Facilitation Training Development sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs (Student Life). The two-day curriculum was created to:

  1. prepare participants to facilitate dialogues, meetings, and presentation/training involving two or more individuals;
  2. be available to students, staff, and volunteers at the School of Public Health;
  3. supplement unit-specific training; and
  4. maximize divisional resources.

The training is comprised of a 16-hour curriculum (with daily lunch breaks) delivered in four modules over two days:

  • Module 1 - Intrapersonal Awareness
  • Module 2 - Interpersonal Skills
  • Module 3 - Group Dynamics
  • Module 4 - Skill Integration

This workshop is sponsored by the School of Public Health Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program and counts as 16 DEI Continuing Professional Education credits. Please email Nichole Burnside at washingn@umich.edu if any accommodations are needed to participate in this workshop.
