Light refreshments will be provided for a talk on: "LGBTQ+ older adults often have unique experiences and needs that create additional considerations for their health and health care delivery. Decades of cumulative discrimination prevent many from seeking services and contribute to health disparities for LGBTQ+ older adults. Caregiving networks for LGBTQ+ older adults also differ from many non-LGBTQ+ individuals. These experiences create barriers and opportunities for addressing health and health care delivery for this population. This presentation will provide an overview of key issues impacting health and healthcare delivery for LGBTQ+ older adults and emerging solutions for tackling them."
