The annual symposium brings together leading researchers, clinicians, practitioners, and other key stakeholders interested in research on college student mental health. This interdisciplinary event welcomes participants from colleges and universities, research/practice networks, wellness centers, and more. Symposium attendees bring with them a rich diversity in experience and expertise which helps to foster a more holistic perspective of college mental health. The Symposium aims to foster collaboration and strengthen the link between research and practice. The Symposium began in 2010, and is now an annual event. The Symposium precedes the Depression on College Campuses Conference at the University of Michigan. Organizations such as Active Minds, The Jed Foundation, the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors (AUCCCD), the Center for Collegiate Mental Health at Penn State (CCMH), and many others have attended in past years.
