Please join the MLK Health Sciences Committee as we host Dr. Carolyn Finney for an interactive discussion around climate justice/environmental justice and opportunities to implement change for the next generation of health science health leaders. Refreshments will be provided at 5:30 pm.
The aim of her work is to develop greater cultural competency within environmental organizations and institutions, challenge media outlets on their representation of difference, and increase awareness of how privilege shapes who gets to speak to environmental issues and determine policy and action.
If you need accommodations in order to fully participate in this event, please email sph.events@umich.edu.
This event counts toward 1 DEI Continuing Professional Education credit for School of Public Health faculty and staff.
