Please join the University of Michigan's Department of Epidemiology for an informational session to learn more about our unique General Epidemiology (GE) and Global Health Epidemiology (GHE) programs. Both programs provide robust training in epidemiology, allowing graduates to address a wide variety of health issues in different populations and settings. The GE program emphasizes training in the principles and methods of epidemiology, biostatistics, and their application to the study of health and disease in human populations. The GE program prepares students to practice epidemiology in diverse settings and positions of employment. The GHE program provides formal training and experience in international contexts, and instills values of collaborative practice that allow our students to meaningfully apply their skills, as epidemiologists, around the world. Our GHE program offers dedicated core faculty who provide effective teaching and mentorship, opportunities for international experience, a tight-knit community of peers, and a comprehensive curricula and enriching international training experiences.
