Dr. Crystal Wynn is currently an associate professor at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia, where she serves as the Director of the Dietetic Internship Program and the Chair of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences Department. She is a registered dietitian and has worked in behavioral health nutrition. Crystal has received a Bachelor’s of Science in Foods, Nutrition, and Dietetics from Delaware State University, a Master’s of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Ph.D. in Public Health from Walden University. She currently serves as the Diversity Liaison for the Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has been a lead program reviewer for the Accreditation Council on Education in Nutrition and Dietetics for the past 6 years. Most recently, she was elected to serve as the program representative elect for Dietetic Internship Programs for the ACEND board for the upcoming year. Crystal is married to Dr. Andrew Wynn and they have two children, Angel and Anderson.
