This event is an opportunity for students will explore the impact of an emerging public health crisis using the Incident Command Structure. Work in inter-professional teams to solve case scenarios modeled after large scale emergencies. We will utilize MPH/MHSA competencies and FEMA training to better understand command structures. By the end, students will understand the dynamic role and responsibilities involved in managing public health emergencies. No prior education is needed, however consider becoming certified in Incident Command Systems 100 at bit.ly/FEMAICS100.
