Leading with Emotional Effectiveness Series | Self-Awareness: Searching Inside Yourself
University of Michigan School of Public Health
1680 SPH I, 1415 Washington Heights Ann Arbor, MI 48109-2029

Self-awareness is the cornerstone of emotional intelligence. During this session, we’ll explore our internal and external self-awareness, our values, and how we make decisions. We’ll practice giving and receiving feedback, an essential tool for continuous self-awareness, reflection and improvement. We hope participants leave with a deeper understanding of self awareness, tips for increasing self-awareness, and an understanding of its importance. Leading with Emotional Effectiveness is an in-person interactive leadership series for School of Public Health graduate students. Attendees will gain tools to help them identify their inner voice and understand when they are being emotionally hijacked and what to do about it. This series is for people who are looking to understand and control their emotions in order to improve their leadership skills and relationship with others. Sign up for one or all sessions!
