Applying for jobs or internships? We recommend always adding a cover letter, even when one isn't explicitly requested! This workshop will break down the process of drafting a specific cover letter and help you gain a better understanding of how to best tailor your letter to fit the job position. RSVP on the Careers Portal (umsphjobs.org) (how to here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mvWf-DlbkHVsCnqy2jONQXr1ZCPrY5yZ/view?usp=sharing) to receive instructions on how to join the meeting and/or request follow up (with a recording of the webinar and notes from the presentation) NOTE: this session will be held virtually over Zoom and will be mostly lecture based. While there will be time for questions, students hoping for cover letter review should attend this week's activity (Friday 1pm-2pm), visit us during drop in hours Wednesday/Friday (1pm-5pm) or schedule an individual appointment with the careers office.
