Are you a graduate student at a U.S. accredited institution interested in global health disparities research? Join us to learn about the University of Michigan’s Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Training Program (MHRT). Michigan MHRT is a NIH funded training program designed to encourage underrepresented students to consider research careers in health disparities focusing on child health, maternal health and global health. Michigan MHRT has project sites in Chile, Nicaragua, India, Uganda and Dearborn (Michigan). Project sites may vary each year and travel is dependent upon University of Michigan travel guidelines.
