Active learning includes instructional methods and strategies that involve engaging students with course materials in a meaningful way. These methods can range from simple (e.g., self-assessments, think-pair-share) to complex (e.g., case studies, role-playing, peer review). In this workshop we will review techniques and technology tools that can be used to facilitate complex active learning that are more authentic in nature.
