Join SPH Careers for all things personal statement. We will review a wide range of things from approaching how to write a personal statement to strategies for clean and clear writing. We welcome students at all parts of the writing process, whether you have a draft prepared or are looking for the push to start writing. This is a great session for students applying to administrative and policy fellowships or graduate programs. Let us help you get your voice to shine through in your application materials!

You should attend this workshop if you are:

  • An undergraduate or graduate SPH student In need of a polished personal statement for an opportunity you are applying for
  • Interested in learning about the personal statement review options and resources available to you

What you’ll gain by attending:

  • An understanding of the basics of personal statements
  • Solidify next steps for personal statement writing journey
  • An understanding of the SPH Writing Center and SPH Careers resources

Join our Career Services Coordinator, Maddie Houston 5:00-6:00pm on Thursday, August 25th on Zoom. The link will be sent to you 24 hours prior. If you’re interested in attending but cannot make it, please sign up and we will send you the recording and slides. The SPH Careers Office aims to deliver inclusive and accessible experiences and welcomes all SPH students to participate.
