Nervous, or unsure how to maximize these sessions and connect with employers in the best way possible? Join SPH Careers to review some tips on how to maximize these sessions and review how to best connect with employers.
We want to make sure you feel comfortable and excited for these sessions! If you’ve attended many in the past or are looking to attend your first employer session, our tips and strategies are for you. We will review things like basic etiquette, how to prepare questions, and best steps for follow up.We will have a one page handout to work alongside the presentation in addition to some feedback and tips from Talent Program Specialist Robert Ayotte and Micalah Webster (SPH alum!) from Spectrum Health!
You should attend this workshop if you are:
- An undergraduate or graduate SPH student
- Interested in attending employer engagement sessions this fall
- Looking to maximize opportunities to engage with recruiters and employers
What you’ll gain by attending:
- An understanding of the basics of employee engagement An understanding of how to prep for the before, during, and after of employee engagement sessions
- A one page resource that reviews maximizing engagement with employers and recruiters
