Ickford Archer
Ickford Archer is a seasoned global executive with over two decades of experience spanning diverse healthcare specialties, including digital transformation technology and insurance. Presently, he holds the position of Midwest Regional Leader at Securitas Healthcare, overseeing all aspects of revenue and project implementation. Before his role at Securitas Healthcare, Mr. Archer served as a Medicare strategist at both UnitedHealthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. In these roles, his primary focus was on developing and refining financial risk models for third-party Medical Service Organizations. During the early stages of his career, Mr. Archer spent three years working internationally in Tokyo, Japan, where he assumed the role of Asian Pacific Technology Manager at GMAC Commercial Mortgage Japan.
Mr. Archer holds a bachelor's degree in Bionucleonics from Purdue University and a master's degree in Health Management and Policy (MHSA) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is also a certified Project Management Professional.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Archer has a profound commitment to community service. He is an active member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, where he holds the position of Vice President at the Gamma Lambda Education Foundation, which annually grants scholarships to African American students who are entering college. Furthermore, he contributes as a board member at Threads for Success, an organization dedicated to providing free suits and mentorship to Detroit area students. Mr. Archer is deeply engaged in various non-profit boards throughout the Detroit area, with a central mission of offering scholarships and mentorship to students as they prepare to pursue higher education.
