Jolynn Rae Suko

Jolynn Suko’s career has spanned both the west coast and the Midwest.  Most recently, she made significant contributions to Parkview Health in several roles. She joined Parkview Health in 2015 as the Senior Vice President of Neurosciences Service Line. In that role, she worked to recruit and develop excellent providers to Northeast Indiana, grow a capable operations team and grow key programs and market share, including the stroke program.  She led Parkview’s efforts to achieve Comprehensive Stroke Certification by the DMV.  

She was promoted to SVP and Chief Innovation Officer in 2019 where she developed and led Parkview’s internationally acclaimed innovation program, oversaw clinical research, digital health, the office of sponsored projects and the health services research team. Jolynn was at the helm for several major developments from Parkview’s research and innovation teams including the significant research output and publication and new federally funded research opportunities, as well as growth and global expansion of Parkview’s healthcare innovation contest. She sits on the advisory board for MATTER, a healthcare incubator in Chicago and has served as an industry advisor for Flare capital.  She has been named one of Becker’s Chief Innovation Officers to know in 2022 and 2023.

Prior to joining Parkview, Jolynn spent 13 years at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington where she held leadership roles in finance, quality, process improvement and operations. She has extensive experience in LEAN manufacturing, has served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and served on the Neurology Endorsement Maintenance committee for the National Quality Forum. She obtained her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and her bachelor’s degree in biology from Whitman College, Walla Walla, Washington. 

She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Alabama- Birmingham where she is studying disruption and innovation in primary care and health system adaptations.  She has coached and mentored both students and executives.
