Michael Budros
Michael Budros is a Manager with Manatt Health, an interdisciplinary policy and business advisory practice of Manatt, Phelps, Philips LLP. Michael provides policy analysis and strategic solutions to the full spectrum of health care stakeholders, with a focus on Medicaid and Medicare managed care rate setting, finance, and eligibility & enrollment issues. In his role at Manatt, Michael has worked with clients across the country, from New York to California.
Before joining Manatt, Michael worked as a senior policy director for a D.C.-based health policy consulting firm, Healthsperien, providing clients a depth of knowledge in Medicare and Medicaid managed care policy, value-based benefits and reimbursement, and social determinants of health. At Healthsperien, Michael spearheaded policy development and operations for two multi-stakeholder advocacy coalitions dedicated to affordability. Michael is also a former David A. Winston Health Policy Fellow for the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, subcommittee on health.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science, Master of Public Policy and Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan. In his spare time, Michael is an active member of D.C.'s LGBTQIA+ soccer community and will take any opportunity to go skiing.
