Graduation is the culminating experience for our Michigan Public Health students. These pages provide information to our students and their guests about our virtual graduation ceremony and other important details leading up to graduation.

School of Public Health Virtual Graduation Ceremony 

Thursday, April 29
7:00 p.m. ET

Please join us for a salute to the Class of 2021. We will continue to be leaders in public health by coming together virtually to celebrate our graduates safely. All are welcome to join in this joyous occasion to recognize the achievements of our graduates over the past several years. 

The ceremony will be streamed live on this website and other platforms. Additional links will be provided closer to the ceremony date. 

The ceremony will include an invited guest speaker, student speakers representing each degree level, recognition of individual graduates, and school-wide award presentations. Please note, graduates will not be on camera during the virtual ceremony. 

For those unable to join the ceremony live, a recording will be made available. 

Graduate Information Request

All graduates are asked to confirm details on some essential personal information by Thursday, April 1:

  • a phonetic spelling (required) and audio pronunciation file (optional) of your name to assist the name reader for the ceremony.
  • The preferred address where you would like your graduation gift box to be mailed. If a preferred address is not provided, the gift box will be mailed to your “Diploma Address” listed in Wolverine Access (if available) or your Permanent Address in Wolverine Access.

Graduate Information

Name Preference for Printed Program

Your name will be displayed in the printed graduation program using your Primary Name in Wolverine Access unless requested otherwise. On February 9, a list of names, as they will be listed in the program, was emailed out to all Michigan Public Health students. Please review that email carefully and utilize the Google form in the email to provide any changes to your name. The deadline to request changes to your name listing is Tuesday, February 23
