In this workshop we will provide an overview (basic terms and functionality) of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT. We will explain how these tools differ from search engines, demonstrate what they can and cannot do, and discuss issues related to terms of service, data privacy, copyright, and academic integrity.
