Jacobson receives Distinguished Health Law Teacher Award

Jacobson receives awardPeter Jacobson, professor of health law and policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, was awarded the prestigious 2017 Jay Healey Distinguished Health Law Teacher Award from the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics in honor of his continued excellence as a health law scholar and educator. 

This annual award recognizes a teacher of health law who embodies the passion and drive of its namesake Jay Healey, a teacher at the University of Connecticut Schools of Law and Medicine who died in 1993 of pancreatic cancer.
