To facilitate anti-racist action and discussion of systemic racism and anti-blackness on a global scale, the International Policy Student Association presents its Fall 2020 Decolonizing International Policy Series. This series will feature five panels throughout the Fall semester that unpack the ways colonialism, imperialism, and racism persist within international systems and how future policymakers can identify and address these practices. The second event focuses on global health, featuring Lance Louskieter, PhD Candidate at the University of Cape Town, and Dr. Rupa Marya, an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco and faculty director of the Do No Harm Coalition, an organization of over 450 health workers committed to structural change to address health problems.
