Research Interests & Projects
I am interested in the analyzing the cross sections of the oral microbiome, environmental
exposures, diet, and access to care to understand how these factors relate to diseases
such as dental caries. I am also interested in investigating differences in oral health
outcomes for children on Medicaid compared to private insurance, as well as exploring
how patients’ spatial access to dental clinics affects their dental insurance utilization.
