The University of Michigan School of Public Health (U-M SPH) and Injury Prevention Center are collaborating on the Certificate in Injury Science (CIS). CIS aims to provide its graduates with an understanding of urgent injury issues with research, education, outreach, practice, and prevention. While many injury topics may be covered, there is a particular focus on: opioid overdose, suicide prevention, violence, concussion, motor vehicle crash, falls, ACEs and other emerging areas --with a special expertise in the population of teens and young adults (although not exclusively). Review our website for more information about the certificate.
