Doctoral Hooding

If you are a dissertation advisor for a doctoral student who will be graduating, we need you to participate in the hooding of your candidate. Your attendance is vitally important. Our on-stage doctoral hooding is an annual tradition and is a beautiful part of the ceremony.

For the benefit of your students, we will hold a hooding rehearsal the day of graduation at 12:30pm. We want to practice these steps to ensure the hooding is completed with grace and precision.

Reception

All faculty members, graduates, family, and their friends are invited to attend the School of Public Health reception immediately following the ceremony.
