Join Us for Our Admitted Graduate Student Experience

We invite you to learn more about why Michigan Public Health is the right place for your public health education through our in-person and virtual programming during March. You will receive key insights into the Michigan Public Health community from school leadership, learn about valuable resources and opportunities to enhance your studies, and interact with faculty, staff, and current students from your admitting department or program.

We encourage you to register for in-person and/or virtual offerings led by the School of Public Health, your admitting department, and the Office of Student Affairs

Please register and indicate which events you plan to attend. While you do not need to attend both in-person and virtually, you are welcome to do so if you'd like to. Similar information will be presented at both sessions.

In-Person events: March 14-15

The sessions at this event are for admitted graduate residential master’s students for the following departments: Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Behavior and Health Equity, Health Management and Policy, and Nutritional Sciences. Admitted Biostatistics students are invited to attend their Admitted Student Day event, also on Saturday, March 15th, at the Rackham Graduate School.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all in-person events. Review our Visit Us page to learn more about local hotels and transportation.

Register for In-Person Admitted Graduate Student Events

For students who plan on arriving the evening before Admitted Student Day, we invite you to attend Community Connections Night on Friday, March 14, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Michigan Union on campus in Ann Arbor.

This evening was created exclusively for admitted students to hear from and meet Michigan Public Health alumni and current students. An alumni testimonial will be followed by a meet-and-greet with local alumni, current student Admissions Ambassadors, and student organization leaders. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served. The event will occur in the Pendleton Room on the 2nd floor.

Admitted graduate master’s students from all departments/programs can attend this in-person event. If you have a guest attending the Guest Enrichment Session on Saturday, they are welcome to attend, as well
