Khalil Chedid, MPH, MD, PhD, Research Area Specialist Lead
Khalil is a researcher at the Center managing various research projects. He received
a BS in Biology from UM, an MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine, an
MPH in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology, and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from U-M SPH.
His research interests include surveilling and mitigating the transmission of multidrug-resistant
organisms and respiratory viruses, with a specific focus on environmental transmission
and infectious disease in child care. He also enjoys the variety of work the center
provides, including mentoring students, laboratory work, and data collection in the
field.
