Research Interests & Projects

I am interested in examining health disparities experienced by those with hearing loss, which includes d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing populations. Prior to attending University of Michigan, I worked with multiple public health research studies. These included working with a community-based participatory research center in partnership with Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities in Southern California as well as working with an NICHD and FDA-funded study examining nicotine, tobacco, and e-cigarette use among youth/adolescents in Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
