From nutrigenomics and epigenetics to the clinical and community translation of nutritional science, the faculty in the Department of Nutritional Sciences provide a breadth of knowledge, skills, research opportunities, and hands-on experiences to our students. Our award winning Nutritional Sciences faculty have received federal and institutional support for nutrition-related centers that support collaborative research and training in nutrition and child obesity through the U-M’s Momentum Center, the Children’s Environmental Health & Disease Prevention Center, as well as the Michigan Nutrition Obesity Research Center.
