  • NOV6Sugarbrook Enrichment WednesdaysThis is a continuation of our work in the Sugarbrook neighborhood in Ypsilanti alongside Community Family Life Centers.   • NOV8General Meeting & IGR Training: Communicating Across IdentitiesInter-Group Relations Training (during general meeting):
    This module is focused on acknowledging the role of social identity within group dynamics.  Participants engage in thinking and skill building around bringing identity into conversations and addressing conflicts related to social identity.

  • NOV27Food for Thought Meal Kit Delivery A team of PHAST students will return to Toledo to support Food for Thought, a community-based organization that identifies food-insecure areas in NW Ohio to provide mobile food pantries.  The team will help pack and delivery holiday meal kits to food-insecure families.  8:00 AM - 2:30 PMToledo, OH

PHAST partners with community-based organizations and health departments locally, nationally, and globally for various community service, public health practice (e.g. community health assessment design and/or implementation, health education, qualitative methods), workshop, and training opportunities.
