The Department of Biostatistics is active in developing software applications for biomedical research. With over one-hundred packages catalogued, our software is essential to investigators in the fields of public health, medicine, nursing, dentistry, and social research. Broad statistical domains include of the analysis of genetics studies, longitudinal and correlated data, Bayesian statistics, nonparametric and semiparametric modeling, analysis of sample surveys, survival analysis, analysis with missing data, machine learning, management of big data, and more.
