"Something I learned (and still learning) about doing research"

wangSijian Wang, PhD

Department of Statistics, Institute for Quantitative Biomedicine, Rutgers University

My current research focuses on proteomics, including quality assessment and control for protein data bank (PDB), protein-structure based learning (like quantitative structure-activity relationship) and computation-assisted protein/drug design.

I have so many cherished memories with the professors, the department, the university and the city, from presenting projects in 699 to defending my thesis, from listening seminars in auditorium to chatting during lunch at 4th-floor common room, from walking at Diag to Go-Blue-ing in stadium (yes, we won this year!), from kayaking on Huron river to playing on CCRB tennis court. I also wish parking at SPH lot with a student-after-hour permit at 2:59pm does not get tickets any longer.
