I study the regulatory politics of food and consumer goods. For my dissertation project, I am researching the politics of regulating food retailers and food safety in Vietnam. I have particular regional interests in Southeast Asia and the American South. I am on fellowship for advanced Vietnamese language study, and based in Hanoi from 2022-2023.
