Jennifer Head
Summary
Professor Head's international work has focused on understanding the emergence of infectious diseases around the world, via a combination of passive and active surveillance in human, animal (both domestic and wildlife), and vector (mosquitos, ticks) populations. She has also worked with various NGO's to understand connections between climate change, nutrition, maternal and child health practices, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and childhood growth outcomes.
