GLOBAL STATCORE
The U-M SPH Office of Global Public Health is pleased to offer a biostatistics core for global health (GLOBAL STATCORE), an initiative directed by Professor Mousumi Banerjee, intended to enhance biostatistical support of global public health research, education, and training at the SPH, the University of Michigan, and in collaboration with our international partners across the globe.
The objectives of the GLOBAL STATCORE are as follows:
- To offer guidance and assistance to SPH investigators on statistical and other technical aspects of their global health related research and to connect global health researchers with potential collaborators in the U-M SPH Department of Biostatistics;
- To provide educational and training support in the areas of statistical methods most relevant to global health research at U-M and global partner institutions; and
- To develop portable learning tools for effective teaching of basic biostatistical methods for the school's international partner institutions that lack biostatistical support.
The GLOBAL STATCORE is composed of Department of Biostatistics faculty with a strong interest and expertise in global health.
Questions regarding the GLOBAL STATCORE at the University of Michigan School of Public Health should be sent to [email protected].
