- For Masters Students: The Office of Global Public Health (OGPH) call for proposals for SPH masters students
interested in completing their summer internship in a global context will be available

- For Doctoral Students: OGPH provides Early-Dissertation Travel Awards to SPH doctoral students who have passed their comprehensives, but have not begun to conduct dissertation research. The goal is to give these students an opportunity to travel to their intended research sites to conduct preliminary work in preparation for research. This can include meetings with potential partners, feasibility study, or other preliminary activities that will strengthen their research project. Students can apply before they have passed their comps but cannot travel until after they have passed. Applications will be available in January 2024 and are due on March 18, 2024 (11:59 p.m.). For questions, please contact sphglobalhealth@umich.edu.
- Graduate Student Conference Funding: The OGPH awards modest travel grants to Masters and PhD students who have been invited to present at international conferences based on research funded by the Office of Global Public Health if no other source is available. Awarded on a rolling basis until available funds are expended, students can request up to $600 for international conferences in the U.S. and $1,000 for international conferences overseas. View the graduate student conference funding announcement. When ready, apply here. For questions, please contact sphglobalhealth@umich.edu.
