Kellie Paich, MPH ’14
Kellie Paich, MPH ’14, is well-versed in prostate cancer treatments and the disease’s prevalence, with more than 200,000 annual diagnoses in the United States. Paich, who earned a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, emphasizes the need for a sensitive initial patient approach.
Irina Bondarenko, a statistician lead in the Department of Biostatistics in the School of Public Health, grew up in Ukraine and has created works of art inspired by her homeland.
Jodi-Ann Burey, MPH ’14
Jodi-Ann Burey, MPH ’14, turned her challenging cancer diagnosis and treatment journey into a passionate fight for health equity by starting a podcast on cancer experiences and advocating for minority health as a public speaker and writer.
Kate O’Brien, MPH ’24
The decision to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Michigan School of Public Health was not a straightforward choice for Kate O’Brien, MPH ’24. She will graduate in May with a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental Health Promotion and Policy, which perfectly captures her interests in environmental health, health behavior and health policy.
