Lifelong Michigan Medicine Patient Gives Back through Internship

For her summer internship, Master of Health Services Administration student Mariam Khan worked at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center at Michigan Medicine. As a long-time patient of the health system, Mariam brought a unique perspective and passion to her work on diversity, equity, and inclusion issues, as well as helping with the initial design phase of the upcoming inpatient tower project.
