Tianna Morgan takes on difficult advocacy conversations because policy is central to everyone who works in public health, from environmental quality to communicable disease to food access. “Fundamentally,” she says, “policy is an intervention.”
Informed by clinical experience and the perspectives of the advocacy community, Kendrin Sonneville brings rigorous science to the pursuit of more weight inclusive approaches to health. Her work asks how we can promote health in a way that’s independent of body size, and promote health and nutrition without increasing weight bias, body dissatisfaction, and disordered eating.
Ruth Thomas is a MPH student in the Global Health Epidemiology track, with a keen interest in international health and marginalized communities.
As an active duty Air Force officer, new mother, and master’s student, Sarah Falvey sees public health as a way to combine her many passions while focusing on keeping people in the military healthy.
Danny Hicks loves the beautiful pragmatism of being in the moment and using the tools at hand to make sound decisions. He also loves doing the hard work of maintaining the human health of communities in and around the military.
